Our Schools and Colleges Liaison team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who thrive on creating opportunities for young people to make informed decisions about their next steps to Higher Education.

Our experienced team of Schools and Colleges Liaison Officers work with key stage 5 students in set regions of the UK delivering careers, information, advice and guidance. And our on-campus events team deliver a wide range of activity including our Open Days, UniLife Residential, Campus Visits and Childrens University Events and Graduations.

Through collaboration with our Academic Schools, we offer a range of academic masterclasses and subject tasters connecting to Gatsby Benchmarks. These sessions link to national curriculum and include a focus on future career opportunities for each subject area.

Our Student Ambassador scheme gives current degree students the opportunity to represent University of Staffordshire at outreach and recruitment events across the country. Our fully trained Ambassador workforce can provide first hand guidance on applying to university, joining the university via clearing, student life and university life.

University experience days

This is your chance to inspire your students to progress their studies onto Higher Education. By having a guided tour around our campus they will experience the opportunities available to
them at university. Your time on site can be made bespoke to your students, with a range of workshops and activities on offer. To enquire, please email the Schools and Colleges Liason Team.

UniLife

Our annual residential is designed to raise aspirations and encourage students to achieve the highest grades and successfully progress to university. Over three action- packed days and two nights, students will get to experience university life for themselves. They’ll explore our state-of-the- art facilities and get hands-on with the equipment in subject workshops; tour the campus and discover some of the courses we have to offer; take part in team building activities and socialise in our Students’ Union. And at the end of the day they’ll get a good night’s sleep in our halls of residence.
