Additional requirements

Want to move into university accommodation, but need a little extra support? We're here to help.

We will try our best to accommodate students who have additional requirements,  and there will be opportunity to give us further details on your application form.

Disabled students

On campus, we have a range of rooms across our various accommodation options that are specially adapted to fit different needs and requirements. We can even help to support during move in, with quiet or early move in slots. Our aim is to ensure you feel as comfortable and supported as possible so that you can make the most of your university experience.

When completing your application, there will be opportunity to give details about your individual needs, please be as specific as possible so that we can be sure we can support you. Following this, a member of our team will get in touch to discuss the options for you.

You'll also want to make sure to get in touch with the Student Inclusion Team as they will support your request for accessible facilities and can kick start any additional support you can receive from the University.

Care leavers and estranged students

We have lots of experience supporting students who are leaving care, or are joining us without the support of a family network.

Please let us know in your application so that we can provide the most appropriate service to you. If you would like to discuss anything or have any questions, feel free to contact the Residence Life team.

Eligible students also qualify for guaranteed accommodation on site for 365 days a year. If you're ready to live off campus, then we can offer support in finding good standard, affordable private housing through our own lettings agency, Greenpad.
