Charity and fundraising

As a Civic University, we are committed to solving societal problems and transforming the lives of the community and its students. As an institution, we have the status of a charity for all of our fundraising activities. Full details are available in the guidance on our charitable status.

Each year we hold charity events to raise funds that are distributed through two separate streams - The Horizon Fund and our University Charity.

The Horizon Fund

The Horizon Fund supports students in a variety of ways. From helping them achieve their potential and make their dreams come true, to overcoming financial obstacles or answering basic needs.

Thanks to donations from the University family of staff, students, alumni and supporters, we can fund a range of bursaries, scholarships and opportunity awards.
