Lecturers on our Music Production degree work in the industry themselves and will guide you through composing, recording, mixing and mastering music for commercial release. You’ll have access to five fully equipped recording studios and four live rooms.  We also offer a degree in Sound Design, which is perfect for students interested in creating sound and music for film, games, TV or drama. You’ll learn how to prepare all aspects of a soundtrack – from dialogue and ambience to sound effects.

Additionally, students on our Music and Sound degrees will have the opportunity to work alongside those throughout Media, Performance and Communication courses. Our students develop the confidence to work across different areas by the end of their studies, having worked on diverse projects across various creative disciplines. They have developed their collaboration skills, storytelling abilities, and addressed global issues. They are prepared for careers in the thriving creative industries.
