What to expect

We’re part of an Office for Students pilot, which is trialling brand new tuition fee loans for higher education short courses. The University is one of just 22 institutions selected for the scheme. Each bitesize module is designed with employability in mind and you will gain an accredited certificate and valuable skills which will be widely recognised.

Offered at either Level 4 or 5, the courses are delivered via a mixture of face-to-face teaching on our campus, or through a partner college, and independent learning online. It means you study part-time over 12 or more weeks.

We’ve worked with local employers to design the content and your assessments will include real world challenges. Perfect if you are looking for a new career. And if you already work for a company, you could soon be transforming its day-to-day practices. Whether it’s web development or practical knowledge of how to reduce a firm’s carbon footprint, your skills will be transferable and in high demand.
