You have a chance to study and work abroad during your time studying with us. Participating in study or work experience abroad will support you in gaining new skills, developing transversal skills and enhancing your employability.

You'll also make new friends and enhance your intercultural awareness. In the past, our students have travelled to many places across the world using our global professional networks, from the cosmopolitan cities of Spain, to the bustling streets of Vietnam.

International student internships in Taiwan

Internships will be a maximum of three months, from May 2024 to January 2025. While students can schedule the internship based on their academic year, the placement must start before January 2025.

Volunteer in Morocco

Morocco is located in the northwest corner of Africa and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean on one edge and the Western Sahara on the other. Approx 3 hours flying time from UK.

The Global Connections team supports programmes and opportunities worldwide, including:

  • Study abroad, where you complete part of your degree programme at a university abroad for 1 semester or an academic year.
  • Volunteering placements abroad.
  • Work experience placements abroad, from 4 weeks to an entire year – ideal if your course has a placement year option.
  • Short visits and conferences abroad led by academic staff.

We can support you with finding the right experience considering how far you want to travel, identifying the length of time you would like to spend abroad and sourcing funding to support your international experience.
