What our students say

The lecturers and tutors really did make a difference to the experience of the course as they are so passionate about what they believe in and this really shows in their teaching.

From the campus to the accommodation, the staff to the night life, this place really is something else!

Amy Jane Witton

Early Childhood Studies with Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)

Staffs can offer you something that many cannot – genuine and caring lecturers who adore the discipline, have done it for years and see it as much more than a job.

The lecturers became like proud parents and I think that says a lot about the course culture.

James Hansell

Graphic Design graduate

The University has also got some great relationships with leading institutions in the sporting industry, so my advice would be to get as much work experience as you can and make it worthwhile.

Christie Scanlon

BA (Hons) Sports Development and Coaching graduate

Before going to university I’d never really understood what I was capable of. Staffordshire University was such an encouraging environment that I felt safe enough to test myself and explore new ways of thinking.

If I hadn’t been to Staffs, I would never have had that life-changing experience and I would never have had the courage to submit my writing to agents and publishers.

Sharon Sant

English and Creative Writing

I started looking around at what options were available in terms of universities and when I attended Staffs Open Day I felt comfortable and like I could fit in here. Since coming to the University, I can definitely say that I made the right choice, the teaching staff are so supportive and encouraging and they have definitely helped me get to where I am now. I was encouraged to try new things and to step out of my comfort zone with a placement year which took me to America! There is a huge sense of community within the University and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.

Amy Adams

Event Management

Selecting Staffordshire University, as my University of choice, provided me with endless opportunities, learning off the lecturers who all carry out research, building on their industrial experience, thus enhancing the teaching experiences. Currently I am applying for graduate jobs ready for next year. I have now got a clear idea of where I want my future to go in terms of work. Thanks to the support and guidance at Staffordshire University, it has not only increased my confidence in my own skills and ability, but also inspired me to push myself in the work place.
