Contempt of Court and Social Media

Masterclass

Outline

This session will introduce participants to the balance that is struck between freedom of expression and protecting the integrity of court trials from things published, including on social media, that may damage the fairness of the trial. The session will be partly interactive and will invite the participants to express their opinions and to argue for particular points of view.
