Whether your passion is for writing fiction or matchday football reports, we’ve got a course for you.

Our Sports Journalism degree will develop your broadcasting skills, with access to our industry-standard TV news set and radio studios.  Then there’s our BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing, where you’ll get to study great literary works and try your hand at penning your own masterpiece.  You’ll be part of an active writers’ community, with open mic nights and support from published authors.

Alongside all the degrees within Media, Performance and Communication, our English and Creative Writing courses prepare students for creative careers through storytelling, sense-making, and collaboration.  Our students develop the confidence to work across different areas by the end of their studies, having worked on diverse projects across various creative disciplines.  They have developed their storytelling abilities, addressed global issues, and are prepared for careers in the thriving creative industries.
