Electric Vehicle Charging

Charge your vehicle up to the next level with our new on-campus electric vehicle charging points, bringing the power of EV charging to our Leek Road, College Road and Centre of Excellence for Healthcare Education, Stafford sites.

With the UK Government committing to banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2030, improving Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure across the University is high on our agenda. We want to support the growing number of people within our University community who use energy-efficient electric vehicles.

The completion of Phase 1 of our Electric Vehicle Charging campus transformation project means that our campus is now well-equipped to meet the increasing (and future) demand for EV Charging provisions among our staff and students.

The charging points are accessible to Staff and Students (not open to the general public).

EV Charging Points across campus operate on a Pay As You Go basis and are priced at 30p/ kWh.
