University offers webinars to make Clearing clearer

Staffordshire University has released a new webinar series aimed at helping families understand more about Clearing and the courses available.

These webinars cover support towards the cost of living and the value of a degree as well as subject specific talks on the University’s next generation business, law, psychology and computing degrees.

The webinars are a popular addition to Clearing operations at Staffordshire University with a view to helping students who will be receiving their results next Thursday 17th August.

Following on from results day, the University is also hosting a Level of Detail Clearing Live event where the University’s games academics will team up with a student ambassador to play The Sims 4 Discover University at the same time as taking questions about Clearing and the University experience.

Executive Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, Sapreena Kumari said: “We know that many people are unsure about what Clearing is, how the process works and how it can help to open up future opportunities.

“Everything we do here at Staffordshire University is geared towards helping students make the best choice for them. We have lots of useful information on our website as well as friendly Clearing advisors who are available to take calls.”

The University is inviting prospective students and their parents or carers to find out more about Staffordshire University by booking onto a campus tour which are taking place at both the Stoke-on-Trent campus and the Centre of Health Innovation at Stafford on Thursday 17th August and Friday 18th August between 9am – 4pm.

And students can also get more information about the University’s courses and facilities, and talk through their options at the Open Day which takes place at the main Stoke-on-Trent campus on Saturday 19th August.
