Innovation and Enterprise

A Net Zero pathfinder project (funded by the Community Renewal Fund) will start in April 2023. 

Students will be trained and will subsequently go out to up to 25 SME’s to train them on achieving carbon net zero.

Targets and progress

Target

All enterprise projects, including student start-ups, monitor their carbon and contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy by 2030.

Progress status: AMBER

The Enterprise team will embed net zero into bids and evaluation reports for all projects from 2023.
