Travel Scheme

We are committed to supporting students to attend our undergraduate and postgraduate Open Days and we want to make it as easy as possible to experience the University of Staffordshire at any of our campuses. 

If you are travelling to an Open Day, we offer an Amazon voucher after the event. The amount paid will depend on your distance travelled to the event. This will be calculated using the RAC route planner. We encourage you to utilise this tool to check your miles travelled prior to submitting your form, which will be sent to you after the event.

Eligibility 

In order to be eligible for the University of Staffordshire voucher scheme, applicants must: 

• Be a UK resident 

• Be aged 16 years or older  

• Be considering University of Staffordshire for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree  

• Be eligible for funding by one of the four UK funding providers (i.e., Student Finance England, Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland, or Student Awards Agency for Scotland) 

• Have booked to attend an Open Day at either of our campuses 

• Attend the booked event and is marked as attended at the relevant registration point 

How you will be paid 

Once we have received your claim form, we will send your digital Amazon voucher for you to spend.  

You will need to claim your voucher within 7 days of attending the Open Day and if you don’t receive your voucher within 21 days of submitting your form, please contact our enquiries team on 01782 294400 or email enquiries@staffs.ac.uk. Lost vouchers will not be replaced.  

Please note that where circumstances are necessary, we reserve the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this scheme at any time without prior notice.  

Important to note: 

• The information you provide will not be shared with any other parties and will be used to process the voucher payment in accordance with these terms and conditions.  

• Only one voucher may be claimed per open day attendee during an admissions cycle. 

• University of Staffordshire's decision regarding eligibility and payment of vouchers is final. 

• Enrolled University of Staffordshire students, members of university staff, or their immediate family members (who live with them) are not eligible to claim.
