University of Staffordshire - Women's Football Club

Welcome to the University of Staffordshire's Women’s Football team. We aim to provide an environment where everyone can enjoy and develop their love for football. We do this by offering sessions to appeal to a variety of levels and mindsets. We have our main competitive training sessions, where we then go on to play on Wednesdays in the Midlands 3B league and in the Aldi Women’s Midlands Conference Cup. Then on a Friday night we have a social session, which is a fun session for anyone who wants to develop their abilities in a less competitive atmosphere. We hope to provide pathways for girls of all levels to play, with no pressure to engage in anything anyone doesn’t want to.

We also have team socials, mainly on Wednesdays after games, to get to know each other better and encourage a team atmosphere both on and off the pitch. We are currently recruiting for new players to join our team for the new year ahead and hope to progress together to have a successful year.

We are connected as a club to the Women’s Futsal team, as many of the girls who play football also decide to play futsal too.
