I spent 12 years working in Critical Care, including General, Surgical, Neurosurgical and Multiple Trauma patients, at a Major Trauma Centre, before going on to complete the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Health Visitor degree, and working as a Health Visitor for 7 years. I then worked as a Clinical Placement Facilitator for 2 years before coming to join the University as a lecturer in Adult Nursing. I also sit on the panel of a local fostering agency as an Independent Panel Member representative for Health.
