Kevin Gould started his career with Ernst & Young, initially working in the energy industry focusing on IT audit and security. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he has spent 25 years as a consultant, adviser and auditor, predominantly in the banking industry, working for banks and consultancy firms of all sizes. He has extensive experience working internationally, including living for several years in Hong Kong and the Middle East.
Kevin grew up in Staffordshire, and graduated from Durham University with a degree in Economics in 1989. Much later, he followed a long-held interest and obtained a masters in Sustainability & Environmental Management from Staffordshire University in 2009. His particular interests were (and remain) sustainable consumption and supply chains, and the role of banking in sustainable development.
In addition to his role as an Independent Governor at Staffordshire University, Kevin is a non-executive director at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in East Grinstead and a trustee of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
Kevin lives in West Sussex, and is married with three sons.
