I am lecturer on and course leader for the BSc Health and Social Care degree. My expertise centres mainly around teaching and I have been teacher in secondary and further education sectors since 2004 and up until starting my post with Staffordshire University in September 2022. My expertise lies in the teaching of anatomy and physiology but also the structure of the health and social care sector, political influences and contemporary issues.

Another large part of my life is that I am a Town Councillor for Biddulph and represent Biddulph as a District Councillor at Staffordshire Moorlands. I have been an elected representative since 2015, being re-elected again in 2019 and intend to stand once more in 2023.
