Gemma has deep expertise in climate, nature, ethical trading and human rights. She also has broad business insights and experiences in strategy development, transformation and change management throughout her career spanning across financial services, consumer goods and retail.
Gemma grew up in a rural town in southwest China. Passion for education runs in her family and she taught in Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) for 5 years when she first graduated.
Gemma now lives in Nottingham with her beloved teenage daughter and a miniature schnauzer. Alongside being a dedicated mother, she wants to devote her time and career in helping organisations become future ready by truly embedding sustainability in its strategy and practices. As a fellow of Royal Society of Arts (RSA), Gemma champions its vision of ‘a world where everyone can fulfil their potential and contribute to more resilient, rebalanced and regenerative futures’.
