Emma Green

P/T Lecturer (Hrly) - Education

Health, Education, Policing and Sciences

After many years teaching Geography in local schools, I joined the PGCE team on a part time basis to develop and run the Geography PGCE course. This opportunity allowed me to use and apply my experience of effective classroom teaching to support the development and training of future Geography teachers.

I have taught extensively at KS3, 4 and 5 and have been a subject mentor and Head of Geography. As a pastoral leader, I was also responsible for my students’ behaviour, progress and welfare.

I am an active member of the Geographical Association (GA) and enjoy supporting the local branch and attending their lectures and fieldtrips. The GA offers valuable networking opportunities for myself and my trainee teachers.
