Research, Innovation and Impact Services

I have been working at the University since 2002, and have been in this role now for 5 years. I have previously worked in the Voluntary sector delivering regeneration funded projects and as a microbiologist in a hospital laboratory. In my current post I specialise in a number of funds including ERDF, Interreg and FP7, representing the university on a number of working groups related to these funds (e.g. ERDF Priority 1 Working Group, EU RDI Group). I lead on Enterprise and Commercial Development’s external bidding activity and have a particular interest in the University’s contribution to the regional enterprise and innovation agendas, participating in external groups such as the Birmingham Science City Stakeholder Engagement group, Southern Staffordshire Partnership Delivery Board and Staffordshire Sub Regional Group.
