John Hendy

Academic Quality and Development

John has worked in further and higher education for 17 years. He has worked as an academic as a lecturer, distance learning tutor and programme manager. The majority of his academic time was spent in the legal field, in particular around criminal law, employment law and student skills development. He has spent most of his time specialising in online and distance learning courses. He has worked with a number of universities and private organisations in developing pedagogies around distance learning. Current projects include creating the Teaching Innovation and Learning Enhancement Hub (TILE), developing digital capabilities of the staff and student body and developing digital pedagogy frameworks to support face to face learning as well as blended and online learning.
