I come from an exercise and fitness background and have up-skilled and gained qualifications, registrations and certifications in sports medicine, sport rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and clinical exercise physiology. I have had the privilege of working in practice with Olympic medallists, world record holders and international footballers in addition to working for the NHS, Wigan Warriors and consulting to the National Institute for Health and Care Research, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust and England Boxing. Prior to joining Staffordshire University I worked in higher education at the University of Salford.

Exercise across the spectrum from special populations to elite performance, including musculoskeletal rehabilitation. 

Teaching

I teach across the exercise modules on the BSc Sport and Exercise Science and Sports Therapy programmes, and the strength and conditioning modules of the BSc Sport and Exercise Science programme.
