As a senior lecturer within the field of Computer Science I am always looking to move my own knowledge forward for the benefit of the Department of Computing and my students. This is evident through my education, expertise and certifications. Following this approach allows me to share cutting edge knowledge with my students as part of their studies with Staffordshire University giving them the edge when graduating.

Research interests
At the moment I am involved in different research fields through my specialisation in the area of network communication. As the importance of network communication in our daily lives is increasing this is an active field of research that is constantly on the move with many interesting technologies immerging. This can be seen with developments including Cloud Technology. This constant change has triggered a wealth of new ideas and concepts in the area of research that will no doubt influence the development of these technologies with the aim to enhance and enrich our lives.

Teaching
As part of my role as Senior Lecturer for the Department of Computing I am involved with teaching at different levels ranging from Undergraduate to Postgraduate level in addition to being involved with the research community at Staffordshire University. As one of the certified lead instructors/educators for our Cisco Networking and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy at Staffordshire University my main areas of teaching are in the field of computer networking and cloud computing.
