The 4 Cs of Teacher Training

We want to create teachers that love what they do and want to make a difference in their careers. That’s why our focus is on creating teachers that are:

  • Passionate and resilient with a love for learning and the connected curriculum.
  • Critically reflective, curious and daring.
  • Confident researchers that use their findings to inform their practice and the practice of others.
  • Community centred, informed practitioners who take responsibility for the importance of community, centred within their role in the classroom and through their impact on children’s lives.

My favourite thing about studying my PGCE with Staffs is the amount of time you spend in the school. You spend the time as a teacher.
