Telehealth Hub

Learn how to develop your digital skills in the telehealth hub.

Our brand-new Telehealth Hub is an industry leading facility which enables students to develop their skills in digital sport, exercise and healthcare; establishing transferable skills, maximising employability and future proofing Staffordshire University graduates. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, healthcare providers turned to web-based systems to continue providing care to patients. The adoption of web-based, remote healthcare, and the familiarity of such systems from the general public, overcame many of the barriers that were previously experienced by patients and had economical advantages. As such, it is expected that telehealth practices will remain beyond the pandemic. Students will use the Staffordshire University Telehealth facility to assess, educate, monitor, and/or deliver health care interventions virtually.
