Throughout my career I have been excited to record, analyse, question and debate the development of economic analysis and its attempt to interpret and influence the key factors determining economic and social welfare. I have taught and learnt at all levels of higher education in the UK, US and many other European countries. In recent years I have specialised in the supervision of PhD and EdD students and in researching various areas of the economics of educational policy and the economics of European integration and transition.
