I graduated from Staffordshire University with BSc. (1st Class Hons.) in Sport and Exercise Sciences in July 2000 and took on the role of Sports Performance Officer at the within the university. I enrolled on the BASES Supervised Experience programme and was accredited with BASES (Physiological Support) in 2007. I am also a qualified (level 3) coach with the Association of British Cycle Coaches.

Areas of interest include exercise physiology, sports nutrition, training principles and the use of ergogenic aids to improve sports performance. My sporting interests revolve mainly around endurance/individual sports but in particular I am a keen cyclist that has competed for many years, most recently in off-road disciplines.

The use of technology to improve cycle-sport performance.
