A deadline date will be specified for each piece of assessment for each of your modules. To get better marks and improve your final award you need to submit and pass all work on time, first time, by the deadlines set.
If you feel that you can't submit your assessment on time, you should speak to your Personal Tutor who will help you to work out how you can submit on time.
In circumstances where you could not have planned for what has happened, you may be able to claim for Exceptional Circumstances to be taken into account.
If you have no Exceptional Circumstances and you do not submit you will fail the assessment and the standard Academic Regulations will apply. Detailed information can be found in the Academic Regulations but if you have any questions then please contact our Money & Guidance Advisors at support@staffs.ac.uk
Special Arrangements for Assessment
If you need special examination arrangements such as needing additional or alternative arrangements for assessment, whether or not you consider yourself to be disabled, please contact our Student Inclusion Team immediately to discuss your individual needs.
They will aim to deal with your enquiry within one week.
