SafeZone is simple-to-use, and it’s free! At a touch of a button, it will let you summon first-aid, security or safety assistance via your mobile phone or PC.
SafeZone has three main buttons that can be used to request assistance from Security:
Wellbeing Assistance
Safezone now has a Wellbeing Assistance button to help manage your wellbeing. The new yellow Wellbeing Assistance button will appear on your SafeZone home screen. Through the Wellbeing Assistance button, you can quickly access a range of support options at the University and via external providers.
Please note these Wellbeing Assistance services are generally designed for non-urgent assistance and are location, time, and day-sensitive so please be aware that not all options will be available at all times.
If you need urgent help for any type of wellbeing or mental health crisis, please use the large red Emergency button on the main SafeZone screen. As long as you are on campus you will be put straight through to the Campus Safety and Security team who will be able to provide you with the care you need.

Download now
SafeZone is simple-to-use and free to download:
Once you have downloaded the SafeZone app you need to sign up using your University email.
The app is privacy-protected, so your location will not be shared unless you summon assistance or if you use the check-in function. This also means the app will not drain your mobile phone battery.
