Our weeklong Career festival takes place 23- 27 October 2023 and sees over 150 employers come onto campus for a jam packed schedule of career fairs, advertising Graduate, Part Time, Placements and Work Experience roles, as well as networking events, a Mentoring Exhibition and the Ukie Games Expo – so get involved, employers want to talk to you!
All students are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all of the events to explore multiple career and job opportunities.

In conjunction with Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce, Connected Futures is hosting FuturePro 23, an opportunity to meet local professionals, practise and develop your networking skills, and eat free food!
Members of the Future Finest professional networking group from the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce, which includes workers in the following careers: law, marketing, IT, PR, creative (web design, media etc), accountancy, HR, financial services, architecture…and more, will be available for students to meet and chat to about their career ideas.
Creative Networking Breakfast

The Creative Networking breakfast is part of ‘Connected Futures Autumn Fair’. The event is designed for the Level 6 Art and Design and Media, Performance students but open to all levels.
Creative industries, professionals and alumni have been invited onto campus to connect with our next generation of Art and Design and Media Performance students. The event is a great way for you to develop your networking skills and build connections with professionals within the creative industry, to learn about projects or possible opportunities, ask questions, and learn more about their experiences of working within the creative industries.
Breakfast included for the first 100 people signed up.
Mentoring Exhibition

To celebrate National Mentoring Day on Friday 27th October we are hosting an event to showcase peer and professional mentoring here at Staffs and how this can help you get ahead in your studies and career, build confidence, and connect with others!
It’s open to all and you will get the chance to meet some mentors and mentees who have benefitted from the scheme.
